Nachdem mir das Design letzte Woche doch nicht so gefallen hat, sieht das heute schon wieder ganz anders aus. In vier Tagen ist schon Weihnachten, ich bin entsetzt! Das schien mir alles noch so weit weg, aber irgendwo ist mir die Lust und Vorfreude schon wieder vergangen... Ich glaube mir gefiel mehr die ganze Atmosphäre mit den Lichtern und dem kühler werdenden Wetter, jetzt ist's mir einfach nur noch viel zu kalt und es hat zu viele gestresste Menschen auf der Strasse. Furchtbar.
Lassen wir das und ich zeige euch statt dessen was Weihnachtliches auf den Nägeln...

Ach, welch' zweideutiger Titel... Eigentlich hatte ich ja nicht vor diese Woche schon wieder was für die Mädchenzeit zu lackieren, wollte es langsam angehen. Aber hier bin ich, mit ein paar Erdbeeren.

So I finally, finally, FINALLY managed to put this together! I wanted this to be a little more than just a haul post, thus I tried to add as much info about where to find stuff and get around London. A bit like a guide to London for nail polish addicts, if you know what I mean. I'm not native to London, but I think if I, a mere tourist, could find these places, chances are you'll find them just fine as well.

First is the most obvious you will want to visit and that's the drugstore. London, and I'm guessing the rest of the UK, has two big drugstore chains which are Boots and Superdrug. You'll find them anywhere, really. In Victoria Station alone there are two Boots and a Superdrug! And you'll love them. They have most of the big brands there and I found offers on pretty much all of them: 3 for 2, buy 2 for a special price or get a free product, buy one and get the second 50% off... So I'll just walk you through the brands and offers I found there.

For the longest time I've wanted to do a white to neon orange gradient on my nails, it was my ultimate Summer nail art idea. Finally I remembered to do it and I was so happy with the outcome! And of course, I am still on my stamping frenzy and had to stamp it. What better motive than neon pink flamingos to match the neon orange gradient?

...And welcome to day 2 of the OMD2 Nail Art Challenge, today's theme is: Coral! As I mentioned in my last post, this is another colour I super love sporting during the days of Summer.

For this theme, I again wanted to try a technique I had never tried before. This time it was the saran wrap one. Basically, you just take a piece of saran wrap, bunch it up into a messy ball and use it as a sponge to apply your accent colours. Sound simple? That's because it is!

Yesterday I was a bit early for my Japanese class in the evening, so I was randomly browsing the stores in town and then it happened... The department store was having their mid-season sale and it didn't take me long to navigate to the nail polish bucket. 

As I dug my way through the big glass bowl, it felt like this was some old stash they had forgotten in their warehouse, there were limited editions and old collections from years before I got into the hobby. I spent a good 10 minutes digging and keeping everyone else waiting, finally I picked these:
