Hi Dolls,
Hi Dolls,
Today I have swatches of some of the Fall polishes by Laquerlicious. Laquerlicious is a US based Indie Brand created by Michelle, check her store for some very pretty and unique polishes! She ships to the USA only, but there are international stockists linked on her page.
The first shade I want to show you is Days of Fall, a grey crelly (although more on the creme side) with shimmer finish, enriched with blue and pruple-ish pink micro glitter.
I applied two coats over a base coat for this swatch. No top coat, because I wanted to show you its 'natural' finish, which is a silky, semi-matte one. The formula was a little thick, which made it a little hard to apply thin coats but allover not a problem. Drying time was rather fast.
Next up is Changing Leaves, another crelly, although this time it leans a little more to the jelly side than Days of Fall. This polish is dark red, think black cherry juice stains or if you're familiar with the Ribena beverage, it's pretty much that tone. There is a shimmer finish with this one, also there's many different coloured micro glitters in it.
Again I applied two coats over a base coat but without top coat. And again it dried with a silky, semi-matte finish. Changing Leaves has a slightly thinner formula than Days of Fall and thus is was easier to work with for me, personally. Also, drying time was fast.
The last shade I have for you is Harvest Moon, does anyone else feel like playing this game right now? Harvest Moon is a very lovely dark teal crelly, it's similar to Changing Leaves, but has more shimmer, it also has micro glitter in it PLUS holo glitter. Words can't describe the complexity of this polish, you really need to see it in person!
I think by now you know the drill: Two coats over a base coat, no top coat. Formulawise Harvest Moon was a lot like Changing Leaves and dried quickly too.
I like them all :-) They're all unique in their own way.
AntwortenLöschenI like them too, I'm glad you think so too :)
